Highly available internet gateways using openbsd
Author: Arno Kruse
The talk focuses on the goals, implementation and maintenance of a self-built gateway. Comparisons to other products will be made as a reference-set of features. Arno will discuss obvious topics like routing, nat, vpn but also less obvious ones like monitoring, application-specific proxying and traffic interception.
During the talk Arno will be demonstrating the practical implementation of a multi-homed, redundant gateway that serves as a NAT-router for a small to medium sized LAN. The audience will be able to test the setup while it is built.
