Bart is one of the founders of WittyWorX, a start-up that makes a cute buddy for young children to play games with. They play the actual game with physical objects in the real world. The buddy can see, hear, speak, feel touch and move lifelike. It can be one of many characters because it is built upon a generic robotic platform called ixi-play, which WittyWorX has developed. Next to being a hardware platform, ixi-Play is also a software platform because it has a computer inside that runs Android and is programmable. This allows developers to build their own interactive and educational games.

Bart is one of the two founders of WittyWorX. He holds over 15 years of working experience as project manager, group leader and business developer at Philips, TNO and a number of start-ups. Next to that he is father of three young children, which explains his interest in how children interact with technology.
