Almost all bigger distributions are switching from init to systemd. That is why it could be useful to learn more about systemd and journald. In this talk I want to make the switch a lot easier for you.

Initially I was sceptical about the change, but lately I learned a lot about systemd/journald and while there are certainly areas where it could be improved, in my opinion this duo is a great improvement.
