In the closing session Jeroen Baten announced that he is going to resign as chairman of the T-DOSE Foundation. Jeroen and Jean-Paul started the T-DOSE Foundation in 2006 and together with a group of volunteers they organized the yearly T-DOSE event. In January 2011 Rene Elders joined the board.

We (organization, sponsors, speakers and visitors) thank Jeroen Baten for his commitment in helping building this great Open Source Event during the last six years. The T-DOSE Foundation will continue like it has done all this time. Jean-Paul Saman will step in as chairman for the T-DOSE Foundation.

The T-DOSE Foundation (Technical Dutch Open Source Event) strives to promote the use and knowledge about Open Source software. By organizing a yearly event called T-DOSE the foundation hopes to give Open Source communities a platform on which they can interact amongst each other and present themselves to their user base. In the Netherlands a foundation is known as "Stichting".
