This talk aims to answer the following questions:

  • More and more of our daily activities on the computer are moving to the cloud. That's convenient, but we throw away some privacy. Why is that bad? What can we do about it?
  • What advances in online security have happened in the past few years and are happening now?
  • How can we build on that to achieve our goal of privacy in the cloud?
  • What is Airborn OS and how does it aim to solve the problem?
  • As a company, when should you open source and when not? As a user, how do we get more companies to open source?
