Between 2012 and 2014, Ed Schouten has worked for Google in Munich as a Site Reliability Engineer, where he gained first-hand experience using BigTable. Nowadays he works as a software developer at Kumina, where he's working with tools such as Kubernetes (cluster management) and Prometheus (monitoring). In addition to that, he develops CloudABI, a sandboxing framework for micro services.
